Day 01

Haridwar to Guptkashi

Distance Cover: 200 Km

Travel Time: 7-8 Hrs

Arrival at Haridwar. Meet your coordinator and begin the scenic drive towards Guptkashi.
En-route views of Devprayag, Rudraprayag and the Mandakini Valley.
Enjoy views of the Mandakini Valley.
Arrive at Guptkashi and check in.
Evening at leisure and preparation for the Kedarnath trek.
Overnight stay at Guptkashi.

Day 02

Guptkashi – Sonprayag – Gaurikund – Kedarnath

Distance Cover: 51 Km

Travel Time: 8-9 Hrs

Early morning departure from Guptkashi.
Guptkashi to Sonprayag (Approx. 30 km / 1–1.5 hrs)
From Sonprayag, proceed to Gaurikund.
Start the trek from Gaurikund to Kedarnath. (Trek Distance: Approx. 16–18 km)
The trail passes through beautiful Himalayan landscapes along the Mandakini Valley.
Reach Kedarnath by evening.
Check in and rest.
Overnight stay at Kedarnath.

Kedarnath Darshan – Gaurikund – Sonprayag – Guptkashi

Early morning visit to Kedarnath Temple for darshan.

Begin the return trek from Kedarnath to Gaurikund. (Trek Distance: Approx. 16–18 km)
From Gaurikund to return Sonprayag and drive back to Guptkashi.
Overnight stay at Guptkashi.

Day 04

Guptkashi – Ukhimath – Ransi – Bantoli

Travel Time: 6-7 hrs

After breakfast, Check from the Guptkashi.
Drive towards Ransi Village, the starting point for the Madhyamaheshwar trek.
Guptkashi to Ransi (Approx. 40–45 km / 2–3 hrs)
Begin the trek through forests and mountain trails.
Ransi to Bantoli. ( Approx. 8–10 km) and Trek Time Approx. 4–5 hrs.
Reach Bantoli and check in at a basic homestay/camp.
Rest and prepare for the next day's trek.
Overnight stay at Bantoli.

Day 05

Bantoli to Madhyamaheshwar

Distance Cover: 8 Km

Travel Time: 4-5 hrs

Early morning start for the final stretch towards Madhyamaheshwar.
Trek through peaceful Himalayan forests and scenic valleys.
Bantoli to Madhyamaheshwar trek Approx. 8–10 km.
Reach Madhyamaheshwar Temple also known as Second Kedar.
Visit the temple and offer prayers.
Enjoy magnificent views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks.
Overnight stay at Madhyamaheshwar.

Day 06

Madhyamaheshwar – Ransi – Chopta

Distance Cover: 63 Km

Early morning darshan at Madhyamaheshwar Temple.
Begin the return trek towards Ransi.
Madhyamaheshwar to Ransi (Approx. 16–18 km)
Drive towards Chopta.
Check in and relax.
Overnight stay at Chopta.

Chopta – Tungnath – Chandrashila – Chopta

Distance Cover: 10 Km

Travel Time: 6-7 Hrs

Early morning begin the trek to Tungnath Temple – Third Kedar.
Chopta to Tungnath distance Approx. 3.5–4 km one way. Trek Time: Approx. 2–3 hrs one way.
Visit the ancient Tungnath Temple and offer prayers.
Optional Continue to Chandrashila Peak.
Tungnath to Chandrashila trek Approx. 1.5 km one way.
Enjoy panoramic Himalayan views from Chandrashila, subject to weather and fitness.
Trek back to Chopta.
Overnight stay at Chopta.

Chopta to Sagar Village

Arrive at Sagar Village and check in.
Evening at leisure and preparation for the challenging Rudranath trek.

Sagar Village – Helang – Urgam Valley

Sagar to Helang Approx. 70–80 km / 3–4 hrs.
Continue towards Urgam Valley.
Helang to Urgam (Approx. 15–20 km / 1–1.5 hrs, depending on road conditions).
Check in and relax.
Prepare for the final Panch Kedar temple.

Urgam Valley – Kalpeshwar – Joshimath - Rudraprayag

Trek through the scenic Urgam Valley.
Trek Distance: Approx. 2–3 km one way and Trek Time: Approx. 1–1.5 hrs one way.
Visit the sacred cave temple and offer prayers.
Return to the roadhead.
Continue by vehicle towards Joshimath.
Overnight stay at Joshimath.

Rudraprayag to Haridwar Departure

From the divine atmosphere of Kedarnath to the serene beauty of Kalpeshwar, every destination offers a unique spiritual experience.

The Panch Kedar Yatra is ideal for pilgrims, spiritual seekers and adventure enthusiasts looking to experience the complete Panch Kedar circuit in the heart of the Garhwal Himalayas.

Start trekking early morning to avoid late-evening travel.
Carry comfortable waterproof trekking shoes with good grip.
Carry warm clothes, thermal wear, jacket, gloves and woollen cap.
Carry a raincoat/poncho and waterproof backpack cover.
Carry a reusable water bottle and energy snacks.
Keep sufficient cash, as ATMs and digital payments may not work in remote areas.
Carry a power bank; electricity may be limited during trekking.
Carry personal medicines and a basic first-aid kit.
Use sunscreen, sunglasses and a cap for protection from strong mountain sun.
Keep luggage light and carry only essential items during trekking.
Maintain a comfortable walking pace and take regular breaks.
Stay hydrated throughout the journey.

Panch Kedar Yatra involves moderate to difficult Himalayan trekking.
Good physical fitness is recommended before undertaking the journey.
Pony, mule, palki and porter services are available on selected routes at an additional cost unless specifically included.
Accommodation during trekking may be in basic guesthouses, homestays or camps depending on areas.
Mobile network and internet connectivity may be limited in remote areas.
Temple darshan and opening/closing timings are subject to local temple authorities.
Road travel may take longer due to traffic, road conditions or weather.
Carry a valid government-issued photo ID.
Follow the instructions of the driver, trek guide and local authorities throughout the journey.

A 50% advance payment is required to confirm the booking. The remaining 50% balance payment can be made before check-in or at the time of check-in at the hotel.

Booking confirmation is subject to the receipt of the advance payment and availability of the required services.

Prior information on any change in the number of guests or cancellations is mandatory. Majestic Journey reserves the right to levy service/ cancellation charges as per the details below (Booking Amount 10% non-refundable).
